10/28/08 The NBA season starts

I am pretty excited the NBA has started. We went out and bought an NBA ticket so we can watch every game if we want.

I only try and watch the super star games so I don't waste too much time.

I usually try and workout while I watch it so it isn't a total sedentary activity.

My oldest kid really loves to watch the NBA and keeps me updated on all the news.

It seems this year there is more super star power than ever.

Can the Boston Celtics repeat? There is a good chance, but probably not. Only time will tell.

I always try and drive at least once a year down to watch the Utah Jazz play.

Utah Jazz

One of the sports I love to watch is the NBA.

I grew up watching the Celtics with Larry Bird taking on Magic Johnson and the Lakers.

I also was a big fan of Dr. J.

This year was the first year I splurged and got the NBA ticket.

We were able to watch games right over our computer.

The Jazz are incredibly good, but weren't good enough to go to the finals.

I took my whole family down to watch the Nuggets and the Jazz

If you live in this area, you should become a Jazz Fan. It is quite relaxing to drive down to Salt Lake City, Utah and watch a game once in a while.

Deron Williams is one of the best guards I have ever seen. Carlos Boozer is also fun to watch. He is a great inside player and can play with either hand.

I always get a kick out of my 94 year old grandma. She loves to watch them and this last year she actually went to a game and had court side seats.

Can the Jazz win it all. Right now, I would say no. They will have to do a little better getting more key players.

They have gotten as far as the Western Finals with the crew they have.

Of course, everyone remembers Michael Jordan beating them in Utah for the finals back when Karl Malone and John Stockton played.

Another awesome thing about the team is Coach Jerry Sloan.

He has the longest tenure of any NBA coach.

Anyway, it is kind of exciting to have a professional team of this caliber only 3 hours away from one of the hottest real estate markets in the United States.
